Anonymous benefactor donates $10,000 towards students and apprentices at 2017 JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards
6 March 2017
The Jewellers Association of Australia (JAA) is honoured to announce that an anonymous benefactor has chosen the 2017 JAA Australasian Jewellery Awards as the vehicle to donate $10,000 towards a JAA initiative that supports an up-and-coming student/apprentice jeweller.
The JAA acknowledges the anonymous benefactor for the generosity of their donation and thanks them for supporting the only industry run Awards event held in Australia and New Zealand.
The donation came with a request that the JAA put the funds towards an initiative that fosters the skills and talent of an entrant to a Student/Apprentice category at the 2017 JAA Jewellery Awards.
Once again, the JAA thanks the anonymous philanthropist for their kind donation which will go towards the bright future of the Australian jewellery industry.
